Alignment
Vehicle alignment refers to the position and angle of the wheels relative to the vehicle. Correcting the alignment ensures that each wheel is parallel to each other and perpendicular to the ground when the car’s weight is upon the wheels. The benefit is even tire wear, safer handling and better gas mileage.
How do I know if I need to get an alignment?
If your car seems to pull or drift, misalignment can be the cause. Another sure sign is uneven treadwear across the tire. If you need help, please call or just drop in. We can provide a visual inspection of your tires without an appointment.
How often should I get an alignment?
Vehicle alignment can change suddenly when you come into contact with potholes, curbs or other road hazards. If you feel the impact was forceful enough, you’ll want to have it checked as soon as possible. For most drivers, the daily bumps and turns over time warrant having the alignment checked at least every 12 months to 12,000 miles, or every other tire rotation.
